My wife and I just got back from Daytona and used our trailer in a bag to trailer the Road King. All I have to say is OUTSTANDING!!!!!! It is truly the perfect trailer to have. It was like it was not even on my tow vehicle. I think I sold some on the way down just from people seeing it in person!!!! Anyway, I think my parents are intersted in purchasing a Trailer in a Bag, we talked to Daivd at Destination Daytona and he said that he has made one for a Trike (which is what they have). Would like to get some pictures and a price from you guys as they are really interested to get one!!!

When I finally took the picture, logged on to your website......the offer is gone! Anyway here's my bike on your trailer. I LOVE this trailer. It tows great and the portability of it is fantastic.

Hey, I made it to Utah with the trailer. This trailer is amazing! I drove about 85 to 90 mph most of the way across country (from Virginia to Utah) and the trailer was solid as a rock. It never swayed or bucked. It was hard to even tell that I was towing anything. Because of its design I was able to minimize fuel inefficiency. At the very end of our trip, we had to get thru some pretty nasty blizzards and there were 60 mph gusts and snow blowing so hard that it was pretty much a complete white out! But the trailer seemed to not even care. I was amazed. The trailer was worth every penny. Thanks for your wonderful product and incredible customer service. I would recommend this trailer to any and every one. I took plenty of pics and will send them to you when I get a chance.

If you recall I was the one that purchased the TIB for a dear friend in Marietta GA. Well she used it behind her little Honda labor day weekend and I think we all agree this is a great little unit. She made it home from Charleston SC to Marietta, and had NO PROBLEMS. She disassembled by herself.

"Hey Rick (Northern California Rep), Thank you for all your help and time in showing me how to put the trailer together! The next day when I picked up my new bike, I had an audience as I whipped that trailer together like a 'pro'...(no pressure!). One guy, on the spot, calls a buddy on his cell phone saying, I've found an answer to my towing problem....I'm going to get the number from this guy on where to buy one of these! The Sales Manager who sold me the bike was absolutely impressed, he said he was going to buy one. Rick, long story short...Three (3) guys asked for your number and all I had at the time was your cell phone, so I hope you don't mind that I gave them that number as I didn't have the one you have posted on your website. I tried to answer all their questions ... and they were absolutely "floored" on the idea and had to have one. So, hopefully you'll get at least a couple of calls for at least a demonstration and/or more information. ...I can't thank you enough. I will definitely tell everyone I know who's at all interested in this product to go thru you! Keep in touch....."

"Thanks Bob...BTW, one of the real advantages of your trailer is it's use as a one-way mover. I've used it several times to help a Brother who broke down somewhere and it's nice to not have to tow an empty trailer one way. I'll continue to show it off...hope you sell a ton of them."

"I finally bought a Trailer-in-a-Bag and I think it is great...It was very easy to put together and easy to use... I hook it up to my black PT Cruiser and hauled it to my Bike Shop, St Pete Kawasaki to drop it off for service... I have an '02 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Mean Streak and it was easy to load and tow...after I dropped of my bike I just dismantled the Trailer-in-a-bag into the back of my PT and off I went with out an empty trailer...I thought it was great too...:-) I also have an '03 Mean Streak (the Wife's) and we want to make the Trailer-in-a-Bag into a double, so we can tow to events that we can not ride to...keep me in mind on the progress of the double...I have some ideas that I would like to talk to you about sometime...:-) P.S. I License tagged my bike as MEAN I, short for MEAN STREAK, so I continued the saga, I tagged my PT Cruiser as MEAN PT, and guess what I tagged the Trailer as MEAN TOW...(just allittle trivia...:-) ) Thanks for a Great product..."

"Hello, First, thanks for making a GREAT, wonderful, well thought out product. I have yet to have but one problem with mine. That problem is the trailer gets more attention than the 49 Harley-Davidson Panhead I pull on it. LOL. Again, thanks for the wonderful product."

"Bob- I cannot tell you how GREAT the trailer is and how easy and simple and seriously over engineered it is. I highly reccomend this trailer to anyone who has a motorcycle. I have already saved a bunch of money and time by not having to have friends pick me up and drop me off at the Harley Shop and I love starting my weekends Friday after work and drive to Santa Barbara (for example) and stay in a Luxury Hotel and be fresh and ready to ride in the mountains the following morning! Let me know when the double conversion kit is ready and I will buy the add on parts. Thanks again for designing such a SUPER PRODUCT at a reasonable price."

"Bob ... the trailer was great. After towing my Harley on several trailers I can say with some certainty that your trailer is the most convenient trailer I have ever used. On our last trip to Florida from Ontario it seemed like it was not even there. Even the gas mileage was not overly affected. Thanks again for all your help."

"Hi, What a great product you make! My trailer in a bag was the solution for me. I had occasion to pick up a vehicle I had just bought in Lyman Wyoming from my place in Salt Lake City Utah. My solution was to tow my "trailer in a bag" behind my Harley Ultra Classic! I barely knew the "trailer in a bag" was behind me! What a sight, a motorcycle towing it's own motorcycle trailer! When I got to Lyman, I moved the "trailer in a bag" from the Harley to the other vehicle and loaded the Ultra Classic onto the "trailer in a bag" and towed the Harley home to Salt Lake with absolutely no problems! I love my trailer in a bag!"

"Hello, I have spoken with folks at Trailer in a Bag on the phone over the past month or so regarding delivery of my trailer ... I want to say that this trailer is quite possibly the highest quality product that I have ever purchased! The only thing more sound than the materials used is the simplicity and appropriateness of the engineering and design. Well done!! If everything made in America was made to this level of quality we would not have the foreign competition issues that we have today. I have been riding motorcycles for over 20 years and have encountered a variety of products in this space. I know what works. A while back I decided to take my knowledge of riding products and offer a specific set of products to bikers. Currently, my primary and most successful line is T-Bags premium motorcycle luggage. I feel strongly that your product would be a nice complement to my portfolio and would like to become a dealer for Trailer in a Bag. I will be at the "Beast of the East" show in Salisbury, MD the weekend of April 21st. I will be using your trailer to bring my custom motorcycle to the show. That is how I demo my bags for folks. I would love to simply leave the bike on the trailer and demo both my T-bags and Trailer in a Bag at the same time. Let me know if you have openings for new dealers. If the answer is yes, I would like go ahead and order two additional trailers so as to keep inventory on hand. Thanks in advance for your consideration .... ... Yes Chuck, we'd love to have you represent our Trailer in a Bag!"

"Storing a trailer was my biggest problem. I wanted to trailer my Burgman 400 from Florida to Long Island NY. I needed a place to store it in both places, otherwise I would have to impose on a friend or relative with some storage space or rent some space. Your trailer solved that problem completely. My trip from Florida to NY was great up until I got to N.J. and N.Y. It was dark and the pot holes were deep on every road. I couldn't see what was going on behind me, all I could hear was a lot of banging from one pot hole to another. I pictured in my mind the worst kind of damage to the trailer and my bike. After my inspection the next morning everything was just as it was when I left Florida 1300 miles ago. Bob, I want to commend you for producing a great product. It's everything you said it would be and more. Thanks for all your help, it's a pleasure dealing with such nice people."

"Hi, I have the single trailer in a bag and it's been great. From a trip to the shop, or taking the bike from Florida to Sturgis and back, it has always performed without any problems! Now.......FINALLY, you have finished the dual trailer. Thanks."

"Randall Washington (Proprietor Randakk’s Cycle Shakk ) from Chapel Hill, NC writes: I love my new trailer! ... here's a link to a review I wrote on the Kawasaki Concours Owners Group forum (COG): I took my new Trailer in a Bag on it's maiden voyage over Memorial Day (2005). My wife and I trailered the Concours to the Pisgah Inn on the Blue Ridge Parkway for a few days of riding. From my house, this is about 500 miles round trip of trailering. This rig performed flawlessly! It was very quiet and I could hardly tell it was in tow. 75-80 mph cruise was non-problematic. The unit is very well-engineered, quite sturdy and made of high quality materials. The clever design breaks down into 6 major pieces which are quite literally stored in a large canvas duffle. The whole trailer weighs only about 150 pounds. Observations: 1. To get the trailer to tow in a level attitude (important for easy loading as well), you will need a very low ball height on your drawbar. 12" from the ground to the top of the ball with a fully loaded trailer is ideal. 2. 65# tire pressure recommendation seems ideal 3. Loading and unloading is easy, but I recommend the use of small stepstools on either side of the loading ramp to boost confidence. 4. The video which ships with the trailer gives helpful hints on the proper use of tiedowns. If not secured correctly, the bike will be "floppy" on the trailer. Due to the angles and leverage involved, the rear ties downs are more important than the front - get these good and tight! 5. I used Velcro "self-straps" (from Rider Wearhouse) to secure the lighting harness to the trailer Notice the close-up photo below - this is the ideal location for the kick stand plate for a Concours. The sidestand will be centered with the kick stand plate in this location. I've marked the central frame with a Sharpie so I can always duplicate this placement. ... The close-up photo can be seen on our 'bikesandtrailers' page."

"Hey Guys, Just wanted to let you know that I'm a new owner of one of the greatest products out there. I've included a picture of my BMW R1200C loaded on the trailer. I pulled the trailer from Miami, FL to Washington D.C. The trailer performed great, and I had no problems other than what you guys warned me about, i.e. forgetting that I was pulling the trailer. Thanks for a great product!"

"Dear Trailer in a Bag, Here's a picture of my 750 Nighthawk on the trailer after 1,000 miles of towing. Everything worked perfectly, and the trailer towed beautifully behind my VW Passat. I went over 10,000 foot passes, made it through Roswell without being abducted by aliens, drove through dust storms in the Texas Panhandle, and had no problems at all. (See Joe'e Nighthawk on the Bikes on the Trailer page) Thanks to the trailer, I was able to work in a great ride of the San Juan Skyway from Durango Colorado while on our family vacation. Thanks for a great product. Everytime I stopped for gas someone came over to look at the trailer and comment on how neat it looked. Sincerely,"

"Bob ... I just finished hauling my Road King Custom on a 2400 mile trip using my new Trailer-In-A-Bag. It’s a quality item that performs. It was very stable and tracked smoothly behind my Accord. At times I forgot I was pulling a trailer. The quality of materials and workmanship are superb. For anyone who is worried that Trailer-In-A-Bag is not “beefy” enough, I want to let them know that it is sturdy, stable, and easy to use. Thanks for a great product."

"Dear Trailer In A Bag, I purchased a Trailer In A Bag this spring in preparation for a road trip from Vacaville, California to Athens, Tennessee, which we just completed a few weeks ago. I knew I wanted to ride my bike as much as possible, but also knew that riding it 2500 miles each direction might burn me out so I started looking for a trailer. My wife and I didn't want to pull a trailer the entire trip either (or make a place to store a full size trailer), so we were looking for alternatives. I saw your add in a bike magazine and it sparked my interest, so I checked out your web site and was very impressed with the details and FAQ's that answered all my questions. I purchased the trailer from your California representative, Rick Engel, who was very helpful in providing me with all the information I needed to get going, including what type of tie-downs to use and the best method for safely securing the bike to the trailer. Before the trip I made a few "test runs" with the bike and trailer and quickly realized that I had a good combination that would fit all my needs. I trailered my bike for 1400 of the 2500 mile trip to Tennessee, and about 1800 miles on the return trip and was very pleased with the way the trailer tows. Most of the towing was done on interstate freeways and the trailer handled everything the super slap could throw at it. I didn't have any problems with loading or un-loading the bike and all the components of the trailer worked very well. Because the trailer takes up so little space, I was able to fit it in the back of our Tahoe, leaving plenty of room for all the luggage. It was nice not having to tow an empty trailer while I was riding the bike, which made driving much more enjoyable for my wife while I was riding. Trailer In A Bag is just the right trailer for me and worked flawlessly for me on this trip and I'm sure for many trips in the future. Thanks for a great product! I have attached some pictures of my bike (2004 Victory Kingpin) on the trailer for use on your web site. Thanks again for a great product."

"Hey guys, Just took my Goldwing up to Lake Champlain Vermont on the Trailerinabag. Had to pick my daughter up at camp, and we needed to bring the truck to haul all of her gear home. Wife and I went up in the truck, pulling the bike on your trailer. When we arrived in VT, we unloaded the bike, stashed the trailer, and had some great riding together in VT. Thanks for making this all possible."

"Good Day John !! Just wanted to let you know how well your Trailer in a Bag performed. It was put to the test when New Orleans evacuated for hurricane Katrina (the very purpose for which I bought your product). I found the trailer easy to put together (although I did reverse the lights at first) and it tracked incredibly well at highway speeds. I had never towed a vehicle before and I found myself looking back for the first 30 minutes of the trip. After some time I felt so comfortable about the stability of the trailer that it made for an easier flight from New Orleans. I can honestly say that due to your product I have my bike to cruise on today. Again Thank You. (Hector ... you're welcome!) "

"I just bought a trailer in a bag and it's great! But after just having assembled it and hooking it nup to my truck, I got rear-ended by a Wash DC cab! He destroyed one of the lights. And I hadn't even owned it for an hour! I called you guys in my grief and you sent me a replacement lens FOR FREE! So, I just wanted to say thank you very much and you can be sure that I will recommend trailer in a bag to all my biker friends! PS: I live in the city so the take-apart-ability of the trailer in a bag is a real plus. Otherwise, I simply wouldn't have the space."

"Bob, I need to replace the right-side (passenger side) tail light component due to breakage. Just need the case and two lense covers that bolt on to the metal "t". The whole story: I was taking the trailer on it's maiden voyage on Saturday when the front wheel fell off of my Vanagon (car/truck). Yep! The wheel fell off. I found all the lug nuts, put the tire back on in the middle of traffic and made it back home. I decided to ride the bike instead of trailering it but I was still so shook up over the adventure that I released the wrong strap first. When the bike fell over, the throttle control hit the pavement and the seat hit the tail light. The bike landed perfectly parrallel to the ground. I was lucky, though! The bike had almost zero damage. . .a few scratches on the tip of the throttle control. LUCKY! The black cloud continued throughout the weekend, though. I got stung by a bee while stopping for lunch on Sunday and a foot peg fell off going 70mph later that day. I found the foot peg, though. So, depending on your perspective, I can be either unlucky--wheel falling off, bike falling, tail light breaking, bee sting, foot peg falling off--or lucky--found all the lug nuts, no damage to the bike, found the foot peg and living to tell about it today. Thanks for your help. Sincerely yours, Duncan
(Jeff ... WOW! Great story and sorry about that black cloud. Your tail light is on the way)"

"I used the TIB for the first time towing my Moto-Guzzi from the north western poconos back to the New Jersey shore this past Monday. Although getting my bike up onto the trailer was a little challenging, everything else went smoothly. People in NJ drive pretty aggressively, and so to keep up with traffic, I was sometimes going in excess of 75 mph. The trailer remained very stable, and I traveled and arrived problem free.
I am now looking forward to using the TIB to tow my bike up and back to the Poconos every few weeks, so I can enjoy my bike in the mountains of PA and at the Jersey shore. Since I don't have a garage and live in a small 3rd floor walkup apartment, being able to use the trailer and take it apart for storage in my SUV or self store unit is just perfect. Thank you for inventing such a wonderful product. "

"from an E-mail ... subject: Fabulous TRAILER!
"Dear Bob,
I have just got back from a trip to Canada and put 1200 miles on the trailer. I have 3000 miles on the trailer from prior trips and I am still amazed how something so simple in design could be so FABULOUS ! I was trailering my new Ducati ST3 this time and the trailer tracks perfectly and will handle passing speeds with ease even though I stay at a steady 3-5 MPH above the speed limit. The bike is a snap to load and unload and always gets lots of attention from other bikers and non bikers when I pull into a rest stop on the Thruway or up in the small towns in Quebec that we stopped in. This is my 3rd bike that I have trailered with ease- the others being a Yamaha V-Star 650 and a Kawasaki Concours 1000. I have attached 2 photos of the Duc on the Trailer for your web sight and can only offer great praise for designing such a practical, efficient, smooth riding trailer at a very reasonable price. Keep up the great work,
Peter B from Pennsylvania
PS Since I wear glasses pass the goggles onto anyone that you think would like them.

"Bob,
I would like to say thank you for your great customer service and products! I had many choices in trailers and spent almost a year looking for one. The design and engineering that is put into your MC trailer is awesome. It is very easy to assemble and store away when not in use. It is extremely SOLID and tracks down the highway perfectly. My Valkyrie weighs around 900 pounds and she needed a stable trailer to carry her which yours does. When loading it, the Valkyrie easily rides up the trailer into the tire chock. I really like the optional kickstand platform since it made it much easier to tie the bike down. Finally, I greatly appreciate your customer service you provided when you quickly responded to my questions.
Excellent trailer and service!

"Hello 'Trailer in a Bag' folks! I have to say I'm quite pleased with my little trailer. It's perfect for my small car. I successfully towed my Kawasaki from Tucson, AZ to Logan, UT and back again this summer (about 900 miles each way). And thank you for promptly answering all my questions via email. Might I suggest that you add information on replacing the trailer light bulbs and tire pressure to your FAQ's on your website? It would also be useful to have an on-line demonstration on how to get the whole thing back into the bag - I've not been able to get that quite right. Thanks for a great product!"
"(Paula ... We will certainly add info on the bulbs and tire pressure to our FAQ's page and We'll see what we can do about a demo showing putting the whole thing back into the bag!)"

"Bob, I want to take this moment to express what a wonderful product the TIAB is. After searching the market for six months, I came to the conclusion that your trailer is the very best value for the money. On the maiden voyage, I took the TIAB on varies types of roads, speed bumps, and at different speeds. Much to my amazement the trailer handled with extreme stability. The fact that the trailer can be assembled or reassembled in six minutes and stored in the trunk of my car was the deciding factor for me. Thank you for the TIAB."

The trailer performed great. It did everything that I wanted it to do. It is a solid piece of equipment and fits in my garage easily ... Thanks, Rob "

"I have used your product several more times during the summer, and I continue to be thrilled with it's ease of use and stability at highway speeds. I must tell you that I purchased two smaller duffle bags, and now split the parts into the two bags, which makes it easier to deal with. Rarely do things that I buy that are a little unconventional work out so perfectly.
Thank you again, Paul S. Erstein "

"We just got in Saturday night late. We are safe-and-sound after a nice safe trip to Florida (from Ohio) and back to make sure that our grand-kids are being raised right. It was a little damp down there but I did get some riding in. Light rain at 80 degrees is much better than any moisture below 40 degrees!!!! All is well in the Sunshine State and Ohio so we will look at our new pictures of all the super “Grand-Kids” and dream of our next trip down.
I had my bike towing trailer modified with my idea for a new style bike tie down at the factory while I was down in Florida. As always The “Trailer-In-A-Bag” people were super nice and helpful. I put two new tires on the towing trailer because you could see through the old tires like a party balloon by the time I got to Florida. I sure do have a lot of miles on that trailer. This is my third set of tires on the original trailer. I have replaced our travel car that we use to go from Detroit to Florida but I’m still using the original bike towing trailer. It is a testament to how well those wonderful people build their product. I looked over the part that they made for me and as usual every weld was clean and sturdy. The parts were fitted like a fine watch and they even painted and color coded the parts so it will be easy to put it together after storage. “Trailer-In-A-Bag” builds a sturdy fine quality product that I’m proud to own and use. “NO” I don’t have stock in the company and “NO” I’m not on their payroll! I’m just astounded that in today’s world of shoddy merchandise and uncaring companies “Trailer-In-A-Bag” builds and services their product with this kind of unmatched integrity. "
